How do I book a session?

To reserve your spot, you’ll need to:

One week before your session, you’ll receive a reminder.
At that point, we’ll finalize the location unless we’ve already confirmed a specific location and discussed any related costs or permits at the time of booking. If you have a particular spot in mind, please let me know early so I can ensure it’s available and determine if a photo permit is needed. Permit fees are not included in your session.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If the forecast isn’t looking great, I’ll reach out a day or two before to talk about backup plans. We can reschedule, move to a covered outdoor location, or switch to an in-home session if that works for you. Weather in Michigan can change quickly, so I stay flexible!
What if I or my kids get sick?
Life happens, especially with little ones! If someone gets sick or there's an emergency, we can absolutely reschedule. Just let me know as soon as you can.
Please note that all rescheduled sessions must take place within the same calendar year.
How do newborn and Fresh 48 sessions work with due dates?
For newborn sessions, I schedule based on your due date and hold space in my calendar around that time. Once your baby arrives, just send me a message and we’ll finalize the session date and time based on how you and baby are doing.
Fresh 48 sessions take place within 48 hours after birth, typically at the hospital or birth center. Please notify me as soon as baby is born so we can plan accordingly.
What’s included in the session?
Each session type includes a set number of edited, high-resolution digital images delivered via a private online gallery.

Extra family members (over 6) can be added for $50 per person.
Where do the sessions take place?
I offer sessions at outdoor locations across Metro Detroit, in your home, or at the studio (with an additional cost).
If you want to book a studio session, please let me know at the time of booking so I can reserve the space.
If you have a specific location in mind, you must notify me ahead of time so I can check availability and confirm whether a photo permit is needed.
Permit fees are not included in your session cost.
What happens after the session?
I carefully select and professionally edit the best images from your session. You’ll receive your private gallery within 2–3 weeks, where you can download your photos and order professional prints if you wish.
Additional digital images can be purchased if you fall in love with more than your included set (it happens often!).
Do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! Your gallery is connected to a professional lab, making it easy to order high-quality prints, albums, and wall art. These make beautiful gifts or keepsakes for your home.
Please note: Prints are not included in your session.
